DF8CJ AC Transmission Freight Diesel Locomotive

 

As the AC transmission heavy-haul mainline freight diesel locomotive, DF8CJ can not only meet the requirement of heavy-haul freight transport for 5000t with single engine traction at the maximum speed 90km/h, but also satisfy the demand of fast freight transport with maximum speed 120km/h. The diesel locomotive is developed as the ideal tractive power equipment for the railway freight heavy-haul and fast speed requirements with heavy power, high speed and little maintenance.

 Performance and characteristics: The AC-DC-AC transmission mode is employed. It is equipped with R16V280ZJ diesel engine with electronic fuel injection, imported IGBT AC traction inverters and its control system, AC auxiliary electric transmission system, computerized control system, AC asynchronous traction motor, dry cooling system, load-bearing fuel tank and dynamic brake system with full power self-load test functions and etc.
